Christmas thoughts

Christmas can be a challenging  time for  those who have lost loved ones and who mourn them.  But with God’s grace, we can move forward and begin to slowly enjoy the wonders and blessings that this season bestows and to remember that each day is indeed a gift.

Definitions of Faith

Faith is the ability to keep on going when all hope is gone.

Faith is believing you can do it when no one else believes you can.

The Well of Gratitude

During the  Pandemic, we can still  find and enjoy the many blessings it has brought us so we may move forward in focusing on the positive direction we can take.

The Well of Gratitude

In these difficult times, we often focus on the most negative parts of our current situation.

Maybe instead we can focus on the positive/ the many blessings in our lives.

Like a wishing well when you put pennies in to make wishes, with the Well of  Gratitude, you  put in each blessing  thereby creating a fountain of up springing/ continuous joy and inspiration.

Harnessing the power of our Creator

Harness the power of our Creator each day to guide you in your daily sojourn.

The healing place

The healing place is a journey that only you can travel to accompanied by our Creator's grace.

Replenishing the roots of your soul

Your soul, like flowers and plants, has to be watered at the roots.  Replenish the roots of your soul with daily refreshment - -  by doing  each day something that makes a difference in the world.

No matter how insignificant it seems to you, you may be surprised by its effect on others.

Bent not broken

The other day I  noticed in my travels a poplar tree totally bent over... but somehow not broken... It had survived two ice storms and many wind and rain storms ,but it bowed to the wind, ice and rain..... embracing  them in its fullness and spirit.

We too can be like this tree... bent but not broken.. surviving and . living in the grace of our Creator’s fullness and protection.

Our unknown journey

The  life journey we wish to travel is often not the one we will end up taking.  Our Creator will often lead us on another journey for purposes unknown to us.

This sojourn is where faith and trust are fully measured.

We are all intertwined

We are irrevocably intertwined, interrelated... what we do to ourselves- we also do unto others. This is something we must acknowledge and honour every day of our lives.

All we have is the moment in time

All we have is this moment in time. The journey of Now is the pathway we should travel so we can free our spirit in the eminence of the present and all of its wondrous blessings. But the heart, mind and soul have to be open to see and experience all of these blessings.

God's Grace

In all adversity, in the lowest of places, we can feel God’s grace within... giving comfort, solace and peace within our soul. Let go and let God--- and answer to the situation will appear. Something we need to remember in these circumstances as Donna Martini has reflected....:” We are not smart enough to know everything about anything.”
