Garden of faith and hope

When we are born, we  begin to nurture our garden of faith and hope with seeds planted, maturing slowly and making their way to the sun- resilient to the extreme weather, as we walk our daily sojourn with our Creator.

The significance of coasting

Sometimes you have to coast in life until you get your breath back.

Making a decision

You know you have made the right decision when you  feel  a sense of peace about it.

Replenishing the roots of your soul

Your soul, like flowers and plants, has to be watered at the roots.  Replenish the roots of your soul with daily refreshment - -  by doing  each day something that makes a difference in the world.

No matter how insignificant it seems to you, you may be surprised by its effect on others.

Be your own psalm of praise

Enjoy the blessings of each day by being your own psalm of praise and gratitude.

In the palm of our Creator

Our Creator holds our hearts and spirit in the palm of His hand.

Our Anchor

We all have an anchor- our inherited gift from our Creator- that grounds us to the earth, to people and to our Creator.

Use it well and experience the joy and peace of fulfillment.

Faith

Faith is connecting the visible reality with the invisible reality.

Bent not broken

The other day I  noticed in my travels a poplar tree totally bent over... but somehow not broken... It had survived two ice storms and many wind and rain storms ,but it bowed to the wind, ice and rain..... embracing  them in its fullness and spirit.

We too can be like this tree... bent but not broken.. surviving and . living in the grace of our Creator’s fullness and protection.

You have it  within you to overcome the greatest of adversity.. Faith is the springwell that comes forth and pulls you through.. You are not alone.  The angels walk by your side and weep with you.

Forgiveness

One way to heal a wounded spirit is forgiveness. Forgiveness is the best gift you can give yourself and others. It is one step in the process of drycleaning the soul.

We bear our own autograph...

We bear our own autograph in every word we speak and every action we take on a daily basis...so it is important that we try to examine each word and action to ensure it represents the essence of who we are and we stand for. Ask yourself the question continuously.. are we hurting ourselves or others with these words or with these actions... Consideration for yourself and for others is one of the main building blocks for developing mutually respectful relationships.

We are all intertwined

We are irrevocably intertwined, interrelated... what we do to ourselves- we also do unto others. This is something we must acknowledge and honour every day of our lives.

All we have is the moment in time

All we have is this moment in time. The journey of Now is the pathway we should travel so we can free our spirit in the eminence of the present and all of its wondrous blessings. But the heart, mind and soul have to be open to see and experience all of these blessings.
